I always sleep with my feet hanging off the end of the bed. I just never thought Clayton may prefer that too! LOL Looking like he's up to something. He's been staring on the crib rail for a long time. Almost there... Finally reaching his Goal! 1st time "gumming" the crib rail.
Seeing those little feet hanging off the side of the bed reminded me of when I worked in a nursing home during college. Every night before I left (3-11 pm shift), I walked my hall to peek in each room to make sure things were okay. Every night this lady's foot was hanging offa the bed and uncovered. Every night I gently slid her foot back onto the bed and covered it. I was so pleased that I was taking such good care of my people.
One night when I gently slid her foot onto the bed, she scared the daylights out of me! She raised up and said, "It's YOU!" She had determined that night to stay awake and discover who was moving and covering her foot. She let me know in no uncertain terms that she wanted her foot hanging out like that, and I was not to touch it! :)
Kara-Wow, I didn't know that you had a blog! I was on Caroline Robbins blog and saw your name. Your son is sooo cute. I'll never forget the fun times that we had at your house.
