First Mother's Day

I had a great first Mother's Day! Our church has a tradition of the child giving the Mother a gift or flower as the mothers stand at the front and sides of the church. Since Andy isn't here to bring Clayton up to me, my brother, Kevin did the honors. Clayton loved the flowers, and he even picked a few off the stems for me! I realize now that I didn't get many pictures of the day because we videod everything, so unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of me and my Mom together. She made a huge Sunday dinner that was so delicious! I have a wonderful mom and I am very thankful to have her as not only my mother, but an incredible friend!!! She is a big help to me while Andy is gone, and I love and appreciate her so much!!!

I 'won' this hanging basket by being the only new first-time mom in our church!

I am sure that it is rough being apart from your husband during this time but God gives us strength beyond our expectations. I have requested prayer for your husband in church.
I saw some pictures awhile back of your baby shower and I saw pictures of Mary Rhine( I think that is her married name) and Martha Zechman. I knew them from when they were at Hobe Sound many moons ago.
Take care and I will be praying for you and your family

congrats on the flower that you won. Yay!!! How cute that Clayton "picked" you some flowers on mother's day. Isn't being a mommy one of the most incredible feelings in the world?! Happy 1st Mother's day to you, Kara. lv...

I pray that your husband returns home to you and your little one soon! God bless you as you serve Him through educating little guys and gals! :)
