...the baby's heartbeat today!!! I always loved hearing that sound when I was pregnant with Clayton, and now I love having proof that there is a precious child living inside me now!!!
I don't put any stock in the heart rate either. Braxton's was low and Caden's was high. I am glad that you got to hear the heart beat. Such a precious sound, isn't it? I always loved having "proof" that there was indeed a little person inside me too. Of course, with the way that I show so early there was already "proof" before I even heard the heart beat. lol! Happy for you guys!
I have guessed 19 of 22 correct with the heart rate, but interestingly two of the three times I was wrong was when the boy's heart rates were actually high and the girl's were low within the same family. Opposite of the wive's tale. My girls on the other hand were consistently 148-165, so when we heard this one at 165 when I was 18 weeks along, there wasn't really much doubt in my mind :)
Do you have a preference? I actually wanted another girl after my first girl so they could be good friends. Maybe that was where I went wrong since I am to be the mother of four girls soon! loL!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me baby #2 was smooth!! I loved the pregnancy stage: great hair, nails and face tone! When is the due date? Enjoy!

I think it was a little slower...but Clayton proved the "old-wives-tale" to be wrong, so I don't put any stock in heart-rate. lol
