A new meter
My house lights have been flickering for a few days, and my brother, Kevin, suggested that I better get the electric company to check my meter. I did that this evening, and none too soon! Turns out, I had a fire just waiting to happen. The box was so hot and coroded, the PPL guy said he had to cut all connection until someone replaced the meter base. Kevin took me to get one and he installed it for me.
I did such a great job at being the light-holder!

I didn't know Kevin was handy!! Why isn't he over there helping us build our house? LOL!!!! So glad it got caught before anything happened!!!
Thanks for your comment on my blog the other day - I believe Jeremy answered you back on there. We've had this same thing happen to us too...so I know how you feel. =) Its scary! Glad you got it taken care of in time.
