Happy Cinco de Mayo

OK, the only thing I am celebrating is this:

I figured since it was a beautiful 75* sunny day, it would be the perfect time to take down my outside Christmas lights!!!! (don'tcha think!?) I was way too pregnant to take them down in December, way too unbalanced (still pregnant) in January, way too sick in February, way too tired in March, way too lazy in April...so May was the perfect time for me to take down any remaining snowman decorations, lights, and Christmas wreaths!!! I have never been this late with it before, so hopefully you can laugh with me and cut me some slack...?

My Christmas lights with our blossoming tree in the background! lol

Kara, I have to laugh. Dave goes crazy outside with Halloween and Christmas deocrations. I made him take down the lights before he left for AK. I have been trying to keep up on the yard work and found 3 artificial trees, with lights, and 3 wire reindeer in the overgrown grass yesterday! Once you have a baby and a husband who gets deployed, some things just take more time than they used too! You're not alone! Still laughing!

Oh, it feels good to know I am not the only one to pack Christmas decorations away in spring! I had to scoot the Christmas decor out of the way for Easter decor more than once already... and I don't have the excuse of pregnancy/baby! lol They (whoever they are) say that being able to laugh at yourself is healthy, so, hey, you're healthy! :)

I want to say too that I so appreciate yours and Andy's attitudes about Andy's deployment and all that it entails. We're proud to know this military family!
