It's Doughnut Day!

I have found memories of my Mom making homemade doughnuts on "Doughnut Day" when I was a kid. I had never tried it, but always wanted to. I decided to go ahead and make some today, and they turned out AWESOME! I don't have a mold/cutter for the typical shape with the hole out, so mine were complete "puff" doughnuts, but that didn't matter to my family! I glazed some and coated them in cinnamon & sugar...YUMMY!!!

National Doughnut Day is the first Friday in June. TODAY!!!

Are those the actual donuts you made? Those look delicious!!! Made me want to go make some for us. I haven't made them in a long time and I am sure my family would be thrilled if I busted out the donut "recipe" again. lol! Good job!!!
