Christmas at Home '09
Unfortunately, I forgot to take very many pictures at the Tillis & Forney Christmases. We had a really great time this year with all our families. We actually felt like this was the most stress-free Christmas yet! We spent a quiet Christmas morning at home as a family. The kids were so cute in their Christmas jammies, and we just enjoyed the simplicity of the cozy candlelight setting in our living room.

The kids waiting & ready for Daddy to hand them their stockings-so sweet!

Andy's parents have a tradition of getting each of their grandchildren a Cracker Barrel rocking chair and teddy bear for the child's 1st Christmas! It makes for wonderful pictures!!!

Armory Dinner (cont.)
Andy with 2 of his buddies, SPC Reiner & SGT Stein
Santa came to the armory. Sadie was asleep, & Clayton was traumatized, but the Major enjoyed Santa's visit! :)

Christmas Dinner at the Armory
Yesterday was the Christmas dinner for Andy's National Guard unit. I did the decoration, so I was exhausted, but it was a lot of fun! The soldiers looked so handsome in their Class A uniforms!

Sadie @ 4 Months
Sadie is a Mommy's girl for sure & she's little drama queen! She lets you know if she is happy & or upset with her healthy set of lungs! :) She is smiling & laughing out loud at Dad's silly faces now, & is rolling over to her stomach from her back now! She sleep 8-9 hours at night (yay)! She loves sitting in the bumbo seat & staring at the lights on the tree. She got weighed & measured today & was 14lbs., 7oz., & 24,5/8" long, so she is growing slower than Clayton did, but that is fine by me!!! (I hated to pack her 0-3 months clothes away!) I know a lot of you wondered if there was any update on her birthmark...The dermatologist is still thinking we need to wait before we decide on anything, to see if it will go away in time, on its own , & Andy & I agree!
Sadie is our sweet pea!

Christmas Cookie Bake
The Bible study group I meet with had a fun-filled cookie bake yesterday. We had a really great time making cookies for people who were on our minds this Christmas. The kids had a really great time too!

Bittersweet
A year ago today, Andy's Grandfather passed away. We sure miss him, especially this Christmas season.

It was also the day Andy & I found we were going to have another baby. What a bittersweet day for us! We didn't want to announce such joyful news on such a sad day, but now a year later, our precious baby girl helps to fill a bit of the hole left by our hero who has gone on...

Zipper Back Gloves

A friend of mine, Kathy Partak, & fabulous inventor-mom, brought a cool line of "Zipper Back Gloves" on the market. I helped her advertise in a tiny way to get in a drawing for a free pair of gloves & I won! These gloves are made for children (with adult sizes coming in 2011) with the ease of a zipper with a big pull-tab, so small children can put their own gloves on easily. Clayton was thrilled with his ZBG & we love that they match his coat/hat so nicely!
Check out the ZBG website!!! www.ZipperBackGloves.com
