Our New Driveway

Clayton watched in awe as the dump truck brought stone for our new driveway. He kept syaing "WOW!"

My Dad brought his Bobcat and Clayton was thrilled with that too since he thought it was "Muck" from Bob the Builder! :)


After a long while, I put Clayton down for a nap, and he was really quiet in there. I came out to talk to Dad, and we noticed Clayton looking out his window to watch, and his mini-blind completely destroyed! (click on the picture to enlarge!) Oh well, it's not every day, you have big trucks "playing" in your yard!

Our Date Day

Saturday, my parents kept our kids while Andy & I went to the Renaissance Fair. It was interesting and we enjoyed our day away! This picture is of the tournament jousting.

I love generation pictures, and this is my Grandpa Forney seeing Sadie for the first time.

Sadie is 1 month old today!!! My friends had a mini shower for us after our planning meeting today.

Sadie has been getting more fussy in the evenings and just wants to be held all the time. I can't always do that, so I told Andy I wanted to look at yard sales for a nice swing, but he surprised me with a new one for Sadie right away so now baby and Mommy are both happy!!!

We try to take time to let Clayton enjoy the rides outside various stores from time to time. This one is the horse outside Giant.

The Joys of Being a Mommy...

I just got done scrubbing 3 people!!! A tiny little girl who spit up everywhere, a stinky toddler who mysteriously woke up from his nap with poop smeared in his crib, (YUK!) and a frazzled mommy who had evidence of all these things on her hands, shirt etc. WHEW!!!

I know I am behind with updating the blog... (it's mostly due to days like this & then crashing into bed at the first chance I get!) But, I PROMISE to post new pictures by this time tomorrow, how's that? Maybe I'll feel up to it at the 3AM feeding! haha
