Sadie's 2 Month Appointment

Sadie had her 2 month appointment today. She weighs 11.75 lbs, and is 23.5' long. She got 4 immunizations today. :'( Her pediatrician is having us go see a dermatologist about the birthmark on her nose. He says it is a deep-tissue one and could possibly cause scarring unless something is done early on. At least, that is what we are going to see about. Otherwise, she is perfectly healthy!!!

Gettysburg Get-Away

We were able to get away overnight to Gettysburg for our anniversary. We had such a great time!

We went to the battle fields after dark Friday & laughed at all the people "looking" for ghosts in complete darkness! Here's the only one I saw...

...and I was SCARED!!!

We also got to meet up with Joe & Diana for dinner Saturday since they live closer to Gettysburg than we do. That was fun.


We looked through the huge Boyd's Bear Barn, & in general, just had a really great, relaxing (much-needed) get-away!

5 Years Ago Today...

WE TIED THE KNOT!!!!!



5 years, a deployment & 2 kids later, our love story continues happily ever after!

Sadie's Dedication to the Lord

We had Sadie dedicated to the Lord on Sunday October 4th.

Pastor Ellison did the readings and Grandpa (Rev.Harry) Plank prayed her dedication prayer.

I sang "Your Whole Life Long" to Sadie


After the service, we enjoyed a good time of food and fellowship with our family and the pastors' families.

Children are a precious gift from God, and we want to be careful to give that priceless gift back to Him to be used in any way He sees fit!
