This year almost all the Plank's were all together at Granny's for Christmas. (Jim & Marie's family was away) It was a relaxing day, and it was really special to spend Christmas Day at the farm again!

It's been a LONG time since I've sat on Santa's lap. I tried to show Clayton that it was harmless, but he was too scared to try it.

As tradtion, Andy's parents have a Cracker Barrel Rocking Chair for every grandchild's 1st Christmas! We were all very excited when Harry carried it into the living room with a 2008 bear in it! Clayton was thrilled, and even "rocked" it himself (by jerky head movements. lol) He is the oldest Plank grandkid for a 1st Christmas, so he wasn't nervous in his chair at all. He even showed off a little! We will always cherish this rocker!

The Plank Family

Recently, all of the Plank's went to have a long-overdue family portrait taken. It went really well. Each of our families' got pictures taken too, but I am just posting the group shots here. It may be years 'till we do this again, so we will cherish it!
