Happy Birthday Harry & Jennifer

Andy's parents-Harry & Rachel Plank-and their 5 precious grandkids. I love the expressions of everyone's faces. (notice Clayton pulling Jennifer's hair!)

Andy sent this Afghan hat home for this Dad. No one was quite sure how it was supposed to be worn...? ;)

Stocking up at the Commissary

One of my friends told me that the commissary at Carlisle Barracks was having their case lot sale. So I took my cousin Sarah and (together with our boys)we had a lot of fun stocking up on meat and other great deals. It was worth the trip & I will definitely be going back!

Baby, It's cold Inside

Our house has been getting a little chilly at night lately. Clayton usually hates blankets and covers on, but now he is keeping them on, and he looks so snuggly and cozy, it makes me wish I could crawl in his crib with him. (He doesn't cuddle if he is awake- he's too busy for that)

Clayton tries to tease me by playing Peek-a-boo. He literally gets down on his honchers where I can't see his face, then he pops back up and laughs while I say Boo! He could do that all day, but then his arms get tired and he sags down into his pack-n-play.

Boo!

Making Baby Food

I know a lot of you Moms have used a food mill (because you told me), but until tonight, I never had. I just bought one though, and now I am having so much fun trying concoctions that Clayton will try tomorrow! Luckily he's not a picky eater, so it should be fun. I made so much banana-cantaloupe mixture that I had to freeze some. I can't stop....it's fun and HEALTHY for my child!

Shopping with Clayton

Clayton hangs out the side of the stroller well armed and ready to grab whatever may come in contact with his little hand. Once he reaches something, it is quickly pulled to the floor in a heap, or jammed into his mouth and slobber-fied.

Clayton found something at Walmart he wants...that little boy in the mirror!

Hi Daddy

Clayton did his own typing on an email to his Daddy. He sure had fun!

A new meter

My house lights have been flickering for a few days, and my brother, Kevin, suggested that I better get the electric company to check my meter. I did that this evening, and none too soon! Turns out, I had a fire just waiting to happen. The box was so hot and coroded, the PPL guy said he had to cut all connection until someone replaced the meter base. Kevin took me to get one and he installed it for me.

I did such a great job at being the light-holder!

Kevin did an awesome job, and I now feel safe! I am so glad he knew what he was doing.

Houdini Boy

I think when he can figure out how to get out of his bouncy seat on his own, (being strapped in), he is offically to big for it. One more thing to go into storage.

Ah-Ha! Mastered that...

Church Anniversary Sunday

Yesterday our church celebrated 20 years in Bus Ministry. The kids sang some songs, and Bro. Barry Arnold spoke.

Kevin & Clayton laugh and sing along. hee.hee

Peaches, Paint & Projects

These are the peaches I got from the Farmer's market this week. I froze them today. Halved some, sliced some- for different kinds of recipes later.

You are my Sunshine

I've always been inspired by Anne Geddes and Kim Anderson photos of children, and I decided to have Clayton get that look. He was intrigued by the basket...He's fun to photograph, because he loves to smile!

Can I stop posing now?
